Dev blog #1 - Introduction to the project
World of States is a massively multiplayer browser-based strategy game. Players can create their own country from scratch. Not only will they have to lay the foundations of their nation, but also manage every aspect of its development. This includes managing the economy, controlling trade, setting policy, maintaining international relations and even waging war.
Registration for the game is currently closed, and the Open Alpha phase will start in less than a month.

Some features
- The game features a detailed world map, with five continents and some twenty regions available for exploration and expansion.
- As in the real world, raw materials are unevenly distributed throughout the game. Some resources are rarer and therefore more valuable than others, which increases interest in trade.
- Develop your agriculture to support the demographic growth of your cities
- Minerals are essential to support the country's heavy industry. Players must therefore ensure that these precious resources are extracted.
- Players can manufacture a variety of items, including steel, fuel, vehicles and even warships.
- Players have the opportunity to trade with other countries, which can bring them economic and strategic advantages.
- Players can mobilize their population and industry to support the war effort.
What's next?
First of all, I'm working on a roadmap that will highlight the different stages of the game's development in the future. This will enable all users to follow the evolution of the game and see what improvements are planned.
I haven't forgotten that most users also have a smartphone, so an app for Android and iPhone is planned.
Once again, don't forget to subscribe to the blog to keep up to date with all the news about the project. By subscribing, you'll receive all the updates and latest news straight to your inbox. It's the best way to stay connected and up to date with the evolution of the project.
